As the organizer of this exhibition, Spacetech Design Lab curated all content independently, much of which had never been shown anywhere else before. Covering approximately 1,000 square meters, the exhibition toured Jing'an Joy City in Shanghai, Teemall in Guangzhou, and Xidan Joy City in Beijing. It featured 16 major zones with more than 300 animation manuscripts, storyboards, and art design materials. Original artwork and design documents from the theatrical films "Q" and "Thrice Upon a Time" were exhibited in mainland China for the first time. Behind-the-scenes production videos from all four Rebuild of Evangelion films were also screened publicly for the first time. Highlights included a large-scale iconic scene light gallery, scene recreations, EVA cockpit interactive light shows, Entry Plug sync-rate testing experiences, and works by Mai Yoneyama, Takeshi Honda, and Hideyuki Matsubara. Each city featured exclusive newly illustrated posters. The Guangzhou stop added a "Misato's Living Room Recreation" zone. Beijing added two more zones, "Seele Conference Room" and "Entry Plug Sync Rate Detection," along with around 100 city-exclusive merchandise SKUs. The ID-swipe entry to the NERV gate and the stamp-collecting experience at the entrance went viral online with tens of millions of views, generating huge excitement among fans.
